Click on the Mustang to download the flier. On July 11th we served free hotdogs, chips and punch at my grandparent's liquor store in North Denver, and we also held the drawing to see who the lucky winner of the 1968 Ford Mustang would be. CONGRATULATIONS! to Tim Salazar of Denver, CO. He is the cousin of a cousin of ours and was soooo excited that he called back 5 or 6 times to make sure it was not a joke! Overall we raised over $6,500 for Denise's Fight for Sight! Thank you to everyone who participated! Below are some pictures from the day of the drawing.

Thank you to Cousin Juju and his students for a fun Karate demonstration to help raise funds

THANK YOU to cousin Juju, his karate students and their family and friends that came out to watch the karate demonstration on May 16th. It was a beautiful day to be outside and a lot of fun to see what karate is all about. Check out the great pictures from the demonstration.

THANK YOU! - April 26, 2009 - Thank you to the Moose Lodge, Grandma Mabel and everyone who helped to get the fliers passed out, Dominic, Jennie, Christopher, Auntie Gail, Uncle Julian, Auntie Shoofly, Auntie Mary, Auntie Minga, and all our family and friends who cooked and helped keep everything organized at the event, Bruce, Mike, Stub, Gail & family and to everyone who attended the DENISE-A-THON. We ate lots of delicious spaghetti, salad, garlic bread & cookies, there was a DJ playing music all day, we had raffles, silent auctions & chinese auctions and a "twisting to the oldies" dance contest. Oh yeah, and I played a couple songs on the piano and sang my new song, "You Are My Sunshine" and "Happy Birthday" to Uncle Bob.

Everyone had a great time and raised money to help get me and Auntie Debbie to China so I can begin my umbilical cord stem cell treatments. We had so much fun and the day went so fast that we forgot to take any pictures.
